Brevard County Florida – 1 of 2

Have you always dreamed of cruising down a beachside highway with the top down, soaking in the scenery and good vibrations? Ever wondered how man reached the moon? Or just want to get back to nature?

Stretching 72 miles along Florida's East Coast, the Space Coast is best known as the home of Kennedy Space Center, the birthplace of U.S. manned spaceflight, Orlando's closest beaches and some of the best surfing in the country, but this is only a taste of what you'll find on our coast.

Over 100 of the best surfing spots on the East Coast can be found right here on Florida's Space Coast. With the longest beach in the State and three of "Florida's Ten Best Beaches," as declared by Southern Living, our area offers a distinct beach getaway, which can be tailor made for any interest, whether its kayaking at the break of dawn, soaring over the crowds on a parasail, skipping the waves on a boogie board or just soaking up some rays.

The Space Coast also features Florida fishing at its best! Whether you're a salt water enthusiast or fresh water, you'll love the fact that you can fish year round and that Port Canaveral is considered to be one of the safest ocean inlets on the east coast. And to get you there you'll find half a dozen public boat ramps, 72 miles of public beaches, several public piers, boat rentals and charters all up and down our coast.
