Sebring is world famous for the annual Twelve Hours of Sebring endurance race, part of the prestigious American Le Mans Series. Every year on the third Saturday of March, the raceway hosts thousands of race fans from around the world to witness the historic 12-hour classic.

Avon Park, Florida- Known as the "City of Charm" offering all a friendly, down-home feeling, AvonPark is one of the oldest cities of Highlands County. Avon Park is famous for its citrus and mile long "mall" down the center of Main Street.

Lake Placid, Florida- One of Florida's prettiest small towns, Lake Placid boasts more than 40 murals adorning its downtown. The town also has a small depot museum, two state parks, more than 1,200 acres of colorful caladiums and the 270-foot Lake Placid Tower.
